The Floyd County Health Department inspects every restaurant and other eating establishment twice yearly. We check food storage, preparation, personnel, restrooms, water and other possible health conditions. Below is a list of the most recently released restaurant inspection scores.

Certified Septic system installers are required to have six hours of continuing education hours each year. The Floyd County Health Department makes these classes available to the installers. Please visit our Event Calendar to find the training session that works best for you. All classes begin at 9 AM.
